Empowering Young Minds Through Arts-Integrated Education
Founded by Annaliese Dehner-Muniz, Dehner Elite Arts Academy was created from a lifelong passion for both education and the arts. Annaliese is a certified Florida educator with multiple endorsements and five years of experience teaching in Seminole County Schools. During her time in the classroom, she became a published researcher in the Artful Learning methodology, a transformative approach inspired by Leonard Bernstein that uses the arts as a catalyst for deeper academic understanding.
After leaving the public school system to open Dehner Elite Arts—a thriving, multi-disciplinary performing and visual arts studio—Annaliese saw a growing need in her community: families wanting high-quality academic guidance and a creative, nurturing learning environment for their homeschoolers. DEAA was born from that vision.
At DEAA, teachers blend their expertise in curriculum design, arts integration, and child development to create a hybrid enrichment program where students feel seen, supported, and inspired.
Her work centers on helping children learn through Experience, Inquiry, Creation, and Reflection, allowing students to explore core subjects through meaningful, artistic, and hands-on learning.
With small class sizes, structured academic tutoring, and a warm, personalized approach, DEAA is a place where each child’s strengths are celebrated and their curiosity is encouraged. Under Annaliese’s leadership, the academy remains committed to fostering joyful learning, genuine connection, and the belief that every student is capable of extraordinary growth when the arts and academics are woven together with intention.
